Lead Generation / Sales / Marketing Specialist

About Voxus:

We’re a scrappy technology-focused communications and marketing firm that believes breakthrough ideas deserve breakout attention.  Our clients face aggressive competitors. A fragmented, noisy and dynamic media landscape. Customers demanding interaction on their terms. For these tech companies, creating awareness and engagement is a bigger challenge than ever. The Voxus approach is simple: build smart, highly targeted PR, social media and content programs that reach and persuade the right people. No filler. Just results.

Why Voxus?

We work hard. We’re always thinking about how to push our clients’ marketing programs forward.

We love to tell stories. We communicate clearly and effectively, using simple terms to explain complex ideas.

We work smart. Our communications programs deliver more (for less) for clients who value focused, nimble and high-touch PR, social media and content services.

About you:

You thrive on introducing others to a service and team you believe in.  You are never pushy, yet the idea of “no” just makes you stronger.

You are a great communicator, with a knack for engaging people and understanding what makes them tick.  You value clarity.  Typos annoy you.

You’re curious.  You like learning and trying new things.

You enjoy collaboration but are able to self-direct to get the job done.

You love goals. Setting them, measuring them and especially exceeding them.

About the role:

As a member of the business development team, you play a crucial role in opening the door using email, LinkedIn or whatever medium is called for.  While others will handle the pitch, you’ll become familiar enough with our market and services to describe us to anyone and tell them why they should work with the best agency ever.

You’ll also learn a lot about the technology industry, if you don’t know it already.

Your focus will be on outreach, mostly through electronic means, as opposed to telesales or generating incoming leads.  Besides your coworkers, email and the CRM system will be your best friend.  You’ll manage a combination of broader campaigns and direct, targeted interactions (with lots of support) as part of a larger revenue plan.

There is absolutely room for growth.

About the job:

Combination of base salary and commission.  Health benefits and 401K, of course.  Ability to work in Tacoma or Seattle.

Minimum 2 years sales / marketing experience.

Experience with a services business highly desired.
