If you thought the slogan "the power of the penguin"
referred to the Linux operating system, think again.
Seattle-based
White Tie uses the frosty
bird to symbolize exclusivity (i.e.,
penguin=tuxedo) and to communicate its mission
of of delivering top-notch, preferential
treatment to its card-carrying members. Think of
White Tie as a web-based concierge that's able
to deliver the best concert tickets, waterside
restaurant tables and and admission to sold-out
events. It's an interesting concept, albeit
pricey -- memberships aren't cheap. But if you
can pay to avoid being left out in the cold, the
penguin might be the pal for you.
